Step 1: Download the App and Sign Up

• Download ScribeMD.ai: Start by downloading the ScribeMD.ai application from your smartphone’s app store.
• Create an Account: Open the app, enter your email and password to sign up. Once registered, you’ll be able to access the main features.

Step 2: Start a New Visit

• Initiate a Visit: When you’re ready to start a patient visit, tap on the 'New AI Private Visit' button.
• Configure Settings: Select the appropriate settings for your visit. You have the option to show patient consent forms directly on your device.

Step 3: Obtain Consent

• Display Consent Form: You can choose to show the consent form prior to the visit or during the visit on your device.
• Patient Signature: Allow the patient to sign the consent form directly on your smartphone or tablet.

Step 4: Record the Visit

• Begin Recording: Enter the patient’s room and press the 'Start Recording' button. The app will begin transcribing everything spoken.
• Continue Interaction: You can safely put your phone into sleep mode while recording. Engage with the patient and conduct your visit up to two hours.

Step 5: Transcribe and Summarize

• Automatic Transcription: The app will transcribe the conversation in real-time.
• Summarize Notes: After the visit, press the 'Summarize' button to generate concise medical notes automatically.

Step 6: Review and Save Notes

• Review Notes: Check the automatically generated notes for accuracy. These will include chief complaints, patient reports, and the planned course of action.
• Edit if Necessary: You can edit the notes directly within the app to add more details or correct any inaccuracies.
