Step 1: Install the ScribeMD Chrome Plugin

1. Access the Chrome Store:
   • Open Google Chrome on any computer equipped with a microphone.
   • Go to the Chrome Web Store by searching for "Chrome Store" on Google.
2. Find and Install ScribeMD:
   • In the Chrome Web Store, search for "ScribeMD".
   • ScribeMD should appear as the first option. Click on it.
   • If it's not already installed, you'll see an option to install it. Click "Install".
   • After installation, close the installation tab.

Step 2: Starting a Recording

1. Access the Plugin:
   • After installation, navigate to the webpage where you want to use the plugin.
   • Locate the ScribeMD tab or icon on the website.
2. Initiate a New Visit:
   • Click on the ScribeMD icon or tab.
   • Press the button to start a new visit or session.
3. Record the Conversation:
   • Click to begin recording the session between you and your patient.
   • Conduct your patient interview or consultation as normal. The plugin will record and transcribe the conversation in real-time.

Step 3: Review and Use the Transcription

1. Pause and Stop Recording:
   • When the conversation ends, click to pause or stop the recording.
2. View the Transcript:
   • Wait a few seconds after stopping the recording.
   • The plugin will display a summary of the conversation, including chief complaints and recommendations.
3. Edit and Integrate with EHR:
   • You can review the transcription directly within the plugin.
   • Copy and paste the relevant information into your Electronic Health Records (EHR) system for documentation.

Step 4: Connect to Telehealth (Optional)

1. Create a New Visit for Telehealth:
   • If conducting a telehealth session, start a new visit using the ScribeMD plugin.
2. Connect the Plugin to Telehealth:
   • Select the option to connect to telehealth within the plugin.
   • Choose the telehealth software you are using from the provided options.
3. Record Both Voices:
   • The plugin will now record audio from both you and your patient during the telehealth session, capturing the complete interaction.

By following these steps, you can effectively use the ScribeMD.ai Chrome plugin to record, transcribe, and summarize patient conversations, integrating seamlessly with your workflow and EHR systems.
